Spot on, we had Mince & Dumplings and Scampi & Chips. Staff were very pleasant. And the food was hot. Will definitely return in the next few weeks.

Used to go to the travelling man most Sundays for Lunch but since having my youngest child we haven’t been as he has a large list of allergies. I rang the travelling man and explained about his allergies and they couldn’t have been any more accommodating! It was nice to have a meal out without the worry my son. Food is always 10/10 Sundays and normal weekday menu. They do a very good reasonably priced specials board too. Desserts are amazing! Staff are always very friendly :)

Good food, very hot, nicely cooked. Black pudding stack starter was very nice with peppercorn sauce - on the salty said, good for me but worth knowing. Rump steak surf and turf - requested rare, cooked as asked for. Could do with seasoning, not as flavourful a cut, would benefit from the optional (3) peppercorn sauce. Fries were soft and sweet, tasted like beef dripping was used, very good. Only the scampy was a let down - not up to the standard of the other ingredients and only 4 small one. 21 in total, we'll priced, good quality, served fast. Ate at 6pm on a Monday.
